Commission to celebrate the new Endoscopy/Ward 22 building at Milton Keynes Hospital. Paul worked with unit staff, investigating procedures and equipment used in the department. This consultation informed visual elements of the design. 'Endoscopy' means 'to look inside'. This inspired the use of curved linear components which lead the eye around and through the sculpture. The artwork also uses flowing forms and geometric shapes in an uplifting composition. Themes such as supporting, holding and resting are suggested.
