H: 42cm, W: 23cm, D: 20cm.
Painted wood and spray painted steel.

One of a related series considering the object as evidence or artefact. There are a multitude of recognisable objects that exist in the form of a shared cultural consciousness. Although we may never have personally owned or held a sword, for example, the notion of a sword seems deeply rooted in a type of appropriated experience. This kind of experience can also apply to the understanding of objects that have never existed in real terms, such as a ray-gun or X-ray Specs. The Fang artwork then, is the generic fang-object, an archetype of fang-ness.
