This sculpture is a reflection of time spent exploring Montserrat Mountain, El Bruc, Spain in 2005. It is not an illustration of the physical geography of the mountain, but more of an impression of a remembered experience. The nature of memory is fragile and fragmentory. This is at odds with the corporeality of sculpture. This artwork toys with making the insubstantial traces of a memory into a physical manifestation.
